My Story
About The Chef
With 25 years of experience, my desire and goal is to use my passion to combine the culture and cuisine of the Midwest, with a flare of European influence, in order to bring nutritious and delicious meals to your table. Growing up in the Milwaukee area I was able to experience much of the ethnic diversity that the city was well known for. The Italian community was located on the east side of the city. The Polish community on the southside. The Hispanic community in the south-central part of the city and the German community was found in the central downtown area. Eating at the restaurants in each of these communities was a treat and left a lasting impression on me.
Over the years I have collected a wide assortment of recipes that cover a broad spectrum of the dishes from each of these ethnic groups. My wife’s third generation sauce (sugo) and meatballs that her Sicilian Grandma made on Sundays, was and is today, a Sicilian classic. How does a Potato and Leek Soup with Pierogis sound? Or my own created version of Chicken and Sausage Gumbo -Midwestern style that appeared at more Packer and Brewer tailgate parties then I can remember!
These are but a few of the traditional recipes and meals that I would enjoy bringing to your table. In the end if you experience pleasure, enjoy and find value in my service, then I will have accomplished my goal and dream.
Consultation
How The Service Works
To begin the process we investigate how you are currently eating and how you would like to eat in the future. We discover your food preferences and aversions, allergies and/or special diets through a detailed food questionnaire.
Tailored Table
Menu Planning
Roughly a week before each cook day, Tailored Table creates a customized menu. Upon your approval, we prepare lists and organize recipes, I will do all the grocery shopping and bring all the food to prepare right in your home.
Service
Dinner Parties
Tailored Table will also provide a service called “Dinner Parties”. There are (4) types of dinner parties included: Formal, Interactive, Buffet and Secret Service. These can all be explained in further detail upon request.
